Ready To Dance Episode 1: New York

Ready To Dance is a personal project that began in 2018, during a month I spent in New York. I was staying at my friend Aveboy T’s place—someone who isn’t just a friend, but a respected rider in the city’s bikelife scene. The idea came naturally, almost without thinking: why not document his world, his passion, the pulse of his everyday life?

Nothing was scripted. The documentary unfolded on its own, simply by following Aveboy T and his crew—young men who, balancing on one wheel, carve out moments of freedom in a world that often feels heavy. Through their rides, I discovered more than just tricks or adrenaline; I discovered a tight-knit community, bound by loyalty, shared struggle, and the belief—like they always say—that the bike brings bonds.
